Consuela Pinto is a founding member of PintoBrown PLLC located in Washington DC. Having practiced in both the private and public sectors for almost 30 years, Consuela’s experience affords her a unique perspective in the representation of businesses of all sizes. She advises employers on compliance with workplace laws and regulations, federal government investigations, pattern and practice systemic claims, and compliance with federal contractors’ affirmative action and non-discrimination obligations.


Consuela’s significant private practice experience includes representing employers on a nationwide basis in compliance reviews before the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs and systemic investigations initiated by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Consuela counsels clients on pay equity matters, conducts DE&I audits, and trains employees and managers on workplace compliance matters.


Prior to moving into private practice, Consuela was the Deputy Associate Solicitor in the Civil Rights and Labor Management Division of the U.S. Department of Labor, where she advised DOL agencies on a wide range of regulatory, policy, and enforcement issues. Consuela is a leading expert on Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs and the Office of the Solicitor’s enforcement actions as they relate to federal contractors’ equal employment opportunity obligations.

Consuela is a frequent presenter and the author of several articles related to OFCCP compliance matters, pay equity, DE&I initiatives, and general EEO issues.
