Pay Equity Laws: The Patchwork Continues to Unfold

 

When it comes to pay equity, states are continuing to take the lead, most recently with a wave of new state statutes aimed at increasing pay transparency to applicants, employees, and state government agencies.  Both California and Illinois have passed legislation requiring employers in their state to submit annual pay data to state agencies.  Colorado now requires employers to disclose pay range information on job posting for jobs in Colorado.  There are also a host of other states with pending pay equity/transparency laws on the horizon.  Please join us as we discuss the latest trends and developments when it comes to pay disclosures and transparency requirements, including strategies and best practices for staying compliant and mitigating risk.
